Kim Herbst was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1984 and lived in two different locations of Tokyo, Japan until moving to NJ as a young child. She found her way to the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and graduated with a BFA in Illustration. Currently, Kim is freelancing for video game companies and dabbling in the world of screenprinting. She enjoys eating various kinds of pie and collecting postcards she receives.
