Actually it's not May Day at all. That was back on the first (if you celebrate it, that is). No, today is the start of the May Competition! Its a doozy. The quality of the submissions is ramping up steadily making the internal editorial process really tricky. Hopefully something in this month's batch strikes your fancy. I know there's already some chatter on the Message Boards about it but for those of you not talking over there here's what we've got:
Brendan McGinley's Hannibal Goes to Rome
Steve Steiner's Colonel MacTagart
Charlie Podrebarac's The Mean Model
Troy Bowen's Golden
Caanan Grall's Celadore
Dan Davis' Captain Luck
Neil Kleid's Action, Ohio
Kerry Talbott's "E"
Azurek Studios' Robodeath
Rudy Guara's Children of Bighand
Congratulations to all of the competitors and their respective creative teams!
Good luck!

Cool stuff going on here! Usually I can place my vote right after I read all of the comics but this month I'm torn between three... Good Luck Everyone!

Another really great bunch of comics. The competition really does seem to get stiffer with each new tourney. Good luck to all this month's competitors!

Wow, another excellent batch -- at least four I'd be willing to vote for.
