Gracias Carlos! Rob, as far as marketing is concerned it's been more difficult to promote our comic this time around and we haven't been pushing as much as we did the first time around but we're pretty happy with were we are in the rankings.

Okay, now that we're past the first ranking, it's time for the next question.
3) Marketing;
There seems to be a general agreement here at Zuda of the importance of outside marketing to boost a comic's ranking. I've also spoken with a number of creators who, for different and equally valid reasons, don't really feel that's something they want to do themselves. I realize that successful marketing can be an edge in the competition and as such some creators don't want to say too much about they're own methods while the contest is running, but could you discuss your own approach to outside marketing? How much time have you devoted to it in this first week of the contest? Has your approach to it changed since your first time in a competition here at Zuda? Are you marketing the comic more, less or differently than you did the first time around?

Or is it? You might never find out if you don't visit!

The artwork is as fantastic as last time. I'm really not sure how much I can get into talking animals (unless it is on a much darker level). But this is enjoyable and still worthy of some high-star rankage!

Hey Robbery thanks so much for your great questions, about the first one, well Gustavo has take it and I feel the same, We can do more pages per week but we don't want sacrifice the quality of the history or art.
-
For your second question, yes the Re-Evolution had thought for the zuda Comics format, the first 8 screens have lest panels, something like 3 panels per page, now in the new pages you can see, that the pages have some tiny panels extra, all to improve the readability and the characterization.
-
I hope Every one loves the new pages and as a n artist I can promise that the art is going to keep growing and growing :D

Well, I have to say that when I originally read Re-Evolution I thought it was just okay. But your new screens have really got me interested in the story. I love the President Zubama joke and having the puppy pee on the device to help them escape was great! I still have other entries to read but you've definitely used your new screens to strengthen your story. Good job!

Okay, next question;
2)Format
Zuda's "monitor-friendly" 4X3 format is something new to most of us since it premiered last year. It does create some unique differences in how the page is composed and i think artists and readers alike don't really fully appreciate that until they experiment with it a bit. Contestants this month have been working with that format for awhile longer and had some time to reconsider it since their first eight page submission. Can you talk about some of the challenges of the format? Was RE-EVOLUTION originally designed for the Zuda format? I seem to remember that it was.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for taking time to do these questions man. As for updates, I really like the 8 page intervals we've had so far so I'd love to keep it that way and do it once a month. Although I wouldn't be opposed to doing it bi-monthly with 4 pages at a time. I think that's the best format for our story since there's a lot of action that wouldn't really work on a one page at a time update.

So last month's general Q&A seemed to work pretty well for opening a dialogue about each creator's plans for their comics and I thought I'd try it again this month. I'm going to try to ask five general questions for each competitor first and see where those answers take us.
1)Update and production schedule;
If you guys win a contract this month, what sort of update schedule do you plan on having? How many pages per month and at what intervals?

Hi Rudis I was checking the Chiguagua movie page and looks like a movie for kids, I understood your concern for the movie but I hope that the guys at Disney can handle it.

For our movie we are thinking in
Gael García Bernal or Alejandro Banderas doing the voice of Chehuahua
.
Will Smith as Sombra
Angelina Jolie As Alexa
.
Tommy Lee Jones or Anthony Hopkins as the voice of Koong
.
I heard Suggestions for the Fossie and Kid Casting :D
.
Thanks to all for your Support, byee.

Rudis, alright my mind is fresh now. Sure the Beverly Hills Chihuahua movies is campy and can be seen as disrespectful and although I don't agree with how they portrayed ancient cultures I have to defend their right to tell their story, however bad it is. There is one key difference in their story and Re-Evolution though, my intention with creating Chehuahua was to create a character that was true to the spirit of Ernesto Guevara. I have a personal link to Che even, my last name is the name of the town where Che was murdered. So I take this very serious indeed. This comic is not a farce of what Che stood for or who he was but rather is a serious exploration of some issues that I feel everyone should be aware of, mainly, the destruction of our planet. Che mainly believed in harmony among peoples and this is a main theme of our comic. I hope this explains the comic a little better. I appreciate the feedback man.

Yes, I remember well your explanation that you meant no disrespect, but now that you've had some sleep, please answer my actual question - how do you feel about Disney's upcoming BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHA? I know you don't feel like your comic is disrespectful, but how about a movie that depicts a genocided culture as tiny little animals? I ask this because i am curious, as that movie trailer has to affect you on some level, since you have a similar little creature representing Che Guevara.

i thought this comic had alot of promise, but then i saw the disney movie trailer for that racist movie about the aztec/mexica race of chihuahas, and i realized, hmm....re-evolution really WAS kind of disrespectful, wasn't it? at least your comic is really just kind of disrespectful to one dude instead of a whole genocided culture, but how do you feel about the movie trailer i'm typing about? anyway, i thought your comic deserved some slack, since there are no humans in your comic book and everybody is animals, then you had to throw a lost city of human survivor/saviours to animals into the mix. i don't recall humans treating animals with any kind of dignity ever. way to kill all hopes for a good allegory on the level of planet of the apes. but i do have to congratulate you guys on having the balls to call your big ape KONG. that was a nice touch.

The year is 2013, all life on Earth was nearly destroyed by a series of environmental disasters called the "Great Change." Forced migrations, starvation and disease kill 90% of the earth's population turning what were once great cities ruled by men, into desolate wastelands ruled by the laws of Mother Nature. Mankind has no choice but seek refuge and move into centralized green zones leaving everything behind, including their beloved animals. With the humans gone, it's a free-for-all battle of survival amongst the animals until a group of gorilla forces start a campaign to enslave all wildlife and establish themselves as the dominant force on the planet. Out of these troubled times a new leader emerges to protect the innocent. Che-huahua, the brave and noble dog who along with the help of his "Guerrilla Wild" vow to protect all animals, find the last human city and hope for the day to once again live in peace and harmony in a new golden age - a Re-Evolution.
