Edmond Ratt is a serial killer. While stabbing a woman in the middle of the street he is spotted by two Police Patrol Officers and escapes seeking shelter in the city sewers. He immediately feels like home in that dark, wet and stinking place.
After killing the police officer who was chasing him Edmond is captured by two strange and pale men who belong to an unknown race called “The Children of the Sewer”. They are born, live and die in the city sewers and rarely go up to the surface.
The two men carry Edmond through tunnels and passages to the lair where more people like them dwell.
Their leader, a hulky man called Shlyder, challenges Edmond to a fight to the death. Edmond defeats Shlyder and is about to kill him but when he hears the shouts of the people of the sewer encouraging him to do it he hesitates: for Edmond killing is a way of gaining satisfaction through an antisocial and contemptible behavior. His aggressivity can’t be expressed in a consenting environment.
Shlyder see his opportunity and tries to strike Edmond from behind but Khela, one of Shlyder's women warns Edmond who instinctively hits him and makes him fall to a waterfall drowning in the filthy residual waters.
Edmond becomes new leader of the Children of the Sewer but has little time to relish. He must face mutant monsters that stalk the hidden pipes and tunnels of the underground and fight the enemies that oppose him to rise an incipient empire in the drains. But the biggest threat will be Forensic Psychologist Zoraidh Cripst. She has come to the sewer and is after him!

A estas alturas de concurso no entiendo como todavía no se ha proclamado virtual campeón este comic, que es sin duda de lo mejor del mes (por no decir lo mejor).Al maravilloso dibujo le acompaña un color digno del mejor profesional, todo ello acompañado de un estilo propio y caracteristico de alguien con maestría. Benito, you are on the way! You deserve to win. In my opinion Children of the Sewer is one of the best comics ever seen here in Zuda. I don't care if the main character is a killer, a normal person or a saint. I think what matters is the story and the art and both of them are superb. Good luck!

Wow, now this is a scaring character! That inner thoughts put the hairs on end. What will he do next?
That last panel is wonderful. Not only the coloring which is evident but also the light and shadow play, the depth of field and the composition. I'd definetely like to know what's going to happen next!

Very oddly retro in style, although the art is very good. I think the story set-up could have had a better hook.

Yo solo tengo una cosa que decir antes de marchar al espacio: Al que no le guste el comic, pues "AJO Y AGUA" y nada mas. Buen trabajo, seguro que al final podremos ver un buen comic en un concurso donde,y sin desmerecer a los demas, estás muy por encima de todos en CALIDAD, le pese a quien le pese y le disguste a quien le disguste. Todos esos mensajes diciendo que este comic es malo, con desproporcionados dibujos y guion sin sentido no tienen otro caracter que el de intentar desvirtuar la realidad. Lo siento por los que no sepan este idioma, que pregunten al de al lado.

I honestly don't quite get all the love for this entry.
The first person text seems over-hammed for psychopath. I can see what's being aimed for, but honestly it grates.
The artwork has a pulp retro vibe, and it's actually pretty good, but by and large this is a pretty direction-less story which just kind of stumbles to what seems to be the point of the series only on the final page. Conceptually I think there's something here, but it isn't delivered as well as it could be.
I shouldn't have to go to the synopsis panel to get what the story is about. The strip should deliver that to me. Here It does not.
I can't really decide if this is good or bad, serious, or tongue in cheek.
The coloring (aside from how you do people's faces) is excellent. The inking is pretty great too.
But the numerous errors in anatomy and perspective kind of turn me off of the art.
The concept to the story is neat, though similar stories have been done before, but if you try it'll be different enough to stay interesting.
