While on a family trip, Maddie and her parents were savagely attacked by a crazed man. Though her parents were not so lucky, Maddie survived due to the intervention of a silent savior who slew her assailant. Dazed and confused, Maddie finds herself on a bus to the LaMorte Home for Lost Girls is a special place that helps wayward young ladies deal with their peculiar condition. Under the watchful eye of these LaMorte Sisters, Maddie will discover the mysteries that lie beneath her imposed, new home.

i think we need a little bit o' sister joan..anybody?..anybody?..well im just throwin that out there, sister francis is a good one though...im am quite impressed fellas, juan pablo and tony vegas gettin it done.
This month's competitor Sci-Fi Drive-by has some bold predictions for the future.... including, if you zoom in on the shelf behind the librarian's head in the library scene, a print version of LaMorte Sisters!
Very cool premise, and the art works too!
I never knew that punctuation could be used as a statement.
This comic is amazing guys! I'm just sad that for some reason I haven't discovered it until now!
I like this. A lot. It feels like the Omen in a way, where the direction is predictable, but the inevitability pulls you in.
Way cool, love this premise. can't wait to see more!
Keep 'em coming. Really enjoying the story and art thus far.
This would make a good movie!
Different nuns, Robot Monster.
-
There's Sister Michael Maureen who you saw slapping lil Juliet. And this is Sister Francis showing the girls to their rooms.
-
All the nuns are named after teachers Tony and I had in grade school :)
The Nun's face switches from Edward G Robinson to The Thing as the story progresses, which isn't a problem. Either way she's pretty hot!
why not two-one-five?
This is a great premise. Very compelling.
Awesome, awesome stuff. Nuns, vampires and supernatural atmosphere are all good and the writing and art all combine beautifully. This is coming along as a compelling kick-arse story and I can't wait to see more!
this is probably the only story i've ever read where i'm actually rooting for the vampires. stupid nuns.
no..ummm...so..wicked cool this is!!!!!!!!
I'm loving it. Keep the pages comin'!
nice stuff again Tony. BCB, now this. Keep it up.
That cat looks awfully familiar...
It's Sister Mary Stigmata A.K.A. the Penguin.
Thanks for reading along, guys. Things are really about to pick up steam.
-
LaMorte Sisters' updates moved to Wednesdays (new book day!).
-
And check out all new Black Cherry Bombshells on Mondays starting Dec 7.
Why do I get the feeling that cat is not dead?…
OMG, I LOVE that all it takes to get rid of a vampire is a nun's slap! :) I have to be honest, guys. I'm loving this way more than BCB. Keep it up! :)
Thanks for all the nice words everyone.
Things are about to get ugly.
Poor cat. He was just mindin' his business and WHAM!
Keep up the good work, guys. I look forward to seeing what happens next.
Say your Prayers!
Nice! Enjoying the story and art thus far. Keep it comin'!
My word.
So far so good! Keep up the good work. This is certainly an interesting story
Love it!
Can I just say: she's SO CUTE!!!! Those little teeth and nails... and the "rawr". I want to adopt! :D
NOt bad. Its stellar.
Good start, beautiful art, really strong sense of mood. Outstanding color palette. Keep it up. The only thing I want to ding you guys for is the lettering/word balloons...first few pages when stylized it was fine, but the latest pages could use some work.
Like the Warm mixed w/purple.
More beautiful colouring and compelling clandestine religious plotting. It reminds me of the film Suspiria but instead of ballet dancing girls there's a dread-insiring monk (which is better).
Hm, I'm not seeing what everyone else is talking about. I think it's not a very good instant winner. The art is nice, I'll give it that, but the story is lackluster. I don't think it would have won in the mix of a contest. Having said that I'll keep an eye on it. Hopefully I'll change my mind. It's been known to happen on occasion.
Are the sisters carrying bows-and-arrows???
More please :)
I really like how the girl's hair is all drawn on page 10. Impressive stuff.

Intriguing...
Excellent start all round. The colours and shades are beautiful...
Another excellent page. Can't wait to see what happens next! :)
excited to see where this one goes alot of potential vibrating off the pages.. good luck.
Congrats, gang! It was a wonderful surprise to happen upon your new Zuda. The story's flow was natural within the supernatural context, so much so that I actually cringed when the girl got got.
looks like southadelph. is that a septa bus?! i kid i kid.
Oooh, nice page! I digs it. :)
Nice feel. Has an European look.
Enchanting!
Already hooked and can't wait for new pages :D
Love the artwork. It's awesome, especially the colors.
