...also the designs for the ships are really cool...and this style goes hand in hand with what webcomics should look like...enough detail to pack a punch but it doesnt get bogged down and lets the story run free...cool stuff!

Working from Rich's script was a blast! Thanks for the kind words about the art everybody; I consider myself an 'old school' comic book artist influenced by my years toiling in animation (and I love early Giffen ). Lots more info about me is at www.comicspace.com/gwor. Go Mecha-Simian!!!

Well done. If Bruce Campbell was a cyborg monkey, he would be Mecha-Simian.

On a more personal note, I don't get to use the word "minion" nearly enough in my day-to-day existence.

Hehe, the art has a "ye olde school" feel to it. Also, the dialogue flowed well... If I might offer one suggestion - Keep doing whatever you're doing - Because I'm a fan. Keep up the great work guys.

For those interested, the original script for Mecha Simian can now be found here: http://www.richlovatt.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/mecha-simian-v1.pdf

It's slightly different from the final product, and the ship has a name - why not take a look?

Mecha-Simian is the last survivor of his people.
Trapped in a cyborg replica of his own destroyed body with his sentient ship for company, Mecha soars through the galaxy in search of the evil General Karakas and his minions – no matter where they hide.
He may not be the brightest banana in the bunch, but what Mecha lacks in smarts he makes up for with heart and determination and some really shiny metal bits.
And so, armed with only his trusty blasters, a mechanized tail and a sunny disposition, Mecha will never rest until Karakas is brought to justice!
