Once I got to page 7, I was like, "Bayou!" Anyway, I was bored until the werewolf/bigfoot thing showed up. Four pages of running away didn't really "grab" me... Also, the black and white seems lazy. At first, I thought that it might have been a style choice (like Sin City), but color would have created such a nice mood, here, that its lack is to this strip's detriment.

After years of battling a wicked headmistress, young Sam has escaped his orphanage for a life far from adults. What he finds instead is a fallen kingdom of fantasy hidden in a nearby forest.
