After years of battling a wicked headmistress, young Sam has escaped his orphanage for a life far from adults. What he finds instead is a fallen kingdom of fantasy hidden in a nearby forest. Within the bizarre landscape Sam finds the perfect sidekick for justice in a solitary giant. Armed with his massive new friend, Sam heads out to rescue his fellow orphans and punish their cruel headmistress once and for all. But when the town’s children begin to disappear, the boy and his giant must battle something far more sinister.

Cool little plug for our story. On Comic News Insider, Myth was chosen as one of their top three picks in episode 196. You can check out the link here:

Great news to tell everyone. Marco and his wife just had a new baby! Everyone is happy and healthy.
On behalf of Marco and E.T., I would just like to thank everyone for making this month so special. The support that all of you have given us has been incredible and we can never say thank you enough. We had a blast bringing this story to all of you and we can't wait to continue it. Congrats to Earthbuilders for the win and to everyone else on a job well done. It was a pleasure.
It was a great month guys - Bravissimo!
Well, $%&*. I hope you'll continue the story elsewhere, though. I'd definitely like to read more--and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Great job this month, guys. And best of luck with whatever's next!
myth myth myth....looking forward to whatever may come next for you!
Guys, thanks for the competition!

-RKB: Your support throughout has been awesome. We'll keep battling until the final bell.
-WstSideConect: So glad you liked it. Thanks for stopping in and giving us your support. We're going to do our best to climb a spot or two.
this is great! I love this...why is this not higher in the competition?
It's not looking good however hope never dies, but if their isn't a turn around and Zuda does the invitational again, your on my list.
Really love the b/w work on this one.
Congrats!
-groonk: Glad to hear it! We won't disappoint. Thanks for getting behind us.
-frequentcontributor: Thanks for your honest comments. We have a much different story to tell. As for the art, we feel it definitely serves this story perfectly. Thank you again for your honesty.
-Causely Concepts: Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you!
-JLongo: Thank you very much for the compliments. Marco has a bright future ahead of him! Thanks for the support.
-Brock Heasley: That's very nice of you to say! We really appreciate the kind words. Thanks!
Once I got to page 7, I was like, "Bayou!" Anyway, I was bored until the werewolf/bigfoot thing showed up. Four pages of running away didn't really "grab" me... Also, the black and white seems lazy. At first, I thought that it might have been a style choice (like Sin City), but color would have created such a nice mood, here, that its lack is to this strip's detriment.
You left me wanting more!
Oh, so much more.
Good read...nice style, it just goes by too fast and I would have loved too see more.
causely-thanks
brock- we would love to continue this too...hopefully
Jlongo- WOW. you just made my day. bill peet is my hero, i just reread merle the high flying squirell a few days ago to my kids. ant that craig thompson is okay too :)
thanks
Truly lovely comic. Would love to see it continue.
I LOVE the art on this. Its like a beautiful blend of Craig Thompson and my favorite childrens book author/illustrator, Bill Peet. Familiarities aside, I love how it reads and the story definitely has intrigue. Good work!!
I enjoyed this. Nice work! -- Sean
-famished: I can see how the icon can be a little ambiguous. Really glad you stopped in and that you liked what you saw. We're glad to have you with us. Spread the word!
I didn't know what to expect from the little icon they gave you guys- I was almost thinking this might be a humor strip. Very clean B&W narrative. Enjoyed it!
There is a great interview with our letterer, E.T. Dollman, up now on our blog. He gives some very cool insight into hsi creative process. Check it out here: http://samandgiant.blogspot.com/
-Bluecrow: Thanks for the great comments. We hope we can win you over. Sam and his Giant have a lot to show you.
I see a lot of potential in this comic, it has a good lineart too, i'm just not sure about its rithm.
-Bryy: That's pretty funny! Anytime someone wants to compare us to that story, be our guests.
Folks, Marco is just itching to give away prizes! Spread the word, spread the vote! VOTE MYTH!
ha! i hadn't heard that...not sure what it means though
seriously, we need to up the votes folks. if anyone has some good ideas of how to get:
A. more views
B. more votes
there's some artwork (myth or any other character of your choice) in it for you.
I recall someone calling this the "White Man's Bayou". I need to find this person and slap them around a little.
-gpz: Thanks for the compliments. Marco's work is incredible. If you haven't checked out the Myth blog or Marco's sketch blog, you have to see what else is in store. The man's full of talent. As for the story, there is a lot waiting to be revealed. Thanks so much for the support, it's great to have you here!

The art is amazing and I really like the story. I think the coloring is excellent as well. My only complaint is that I wish there was a little bit more back story given on why he was locked up, but overall I'm interested. Good Luck
-jsinclair: That's great! Thank you so much for giving us your support. We're very happy to have you with us!

i think my colouring skills explain the real reason this story is done in B/W/gray :)
just kidding. after ding this sketch i am more certain colour would set the wrong mood for this story...
-grobert: All I can say is very cool. Nothing like getting a limerick from a kick-ass, swashbuckling pirate sleuth! I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say thank you!
-There's a great color sketch from Marco on the blog today. Go check out our little friend in technicolor here:http://samandgiant.blogspot.com/
Hello Team Myth! Visit the Zuda Comic's forum to find a gift from the Pirate Eye crew. An homage to your comic, if you will.
