Santa’s home is under attack!
Count Dracula has decided with its six full month of darkness that the North Pole would make a perfect headquarters (he got the idea from the movie ‘30 Days of Night’, but will NOT admit it as he thinks admitting he has a Netflix account weakens his image) and he’s gathered an army of the world’s most famous monsters to evict Christmas Town’s current residents.
Now it’s elves versus vampires, flying reindeer versus werewolves, and Christmas versus Halloween as the forces of darkness and despair descend upon the bringers of joy and merriment!
In the end only one holiday will be celebrating.
Dracula vs. Santa: Welcome to the ‘Winter Wonderland’ of our discontent!

This had potential, but why it didn't make it here, I can't say. I'm not in the know for that.
Hey Kids! Dracula vs Santa is back!...And this time, it's animated!..Oh, and it's called 'Santa vs Dracula'...oh, and...DRACULA IS IN IT!!!! Check it out here: http://www.aniboom.com/animation-video/393307/Santa-versus-Dracula/
Still going to update it? I can't wait!
Hey Everyone! Some time has passed and Ed and I have decided to finish Dracula and Santa. Please be a bit more patient, we'll have more content coming soon. Thanks for your interest!
This was a fun ride so far. I am interested to see where it is heading. The build got me wanting to see the bad guy and what was triggering all this insanity.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I need to read more of this.
Hey everyone!
I'll be back later for some closing thoughts, but I just wanted to thank everyone who voted for us and gave us such awesome reveiws in their blogs.
Mel, myself, Santa, and (yes) Dracula will be back soon. We'll announce it here, on the Zuda message boards, and on our comic's webpage (www.mycagecomic.com) when we know when.
Later!
-Ed
noooooooo. Well. Like it's been said... Let us know if/when/where you continue. It was a good run.
Guys, I hope the outcome to this month's competition doesn't discourage you both completely from continuing this comic! I loved every bit of Dracula VS Santa, and hope to see more in the nearby future.
Please let us know if, when, and where this will continue. I still want to see your take on Dracula!
Well done, I really enjoy your work!
Dracula and Santa...Wicked Cool!!!
You get my vote man!!
Pretty funny and crazy concept, joining santa and dracula is very original even if they are popular characters and not created by you .
I have to say the same issue a lot of people had say before, I´m very intriguing about Dracula and his world and it is a minus point not having him in these pages, obviously he will be seen later, but you only have 8 pages here.
Good Luck
Its fun. Voted and I'll folow it anywere you put it. Cheers
Nick Frosty, haha, blatant rip off but I love it.
Nice idea, great setup. The artwork also leaves me in anticipation for what Dracula's going to look like. This has my vote for sure.
Libby51J - Thanks for your comment. There's only a few days left in the month and we seem kinda far from 1st or 2nd. (Though we were in 2nd at the beginning of the month.) Ed and myself would like to continue this comic but we'll wait until the contest is over and see how everything settles.
Dracula will be seen!
I must be in the minority...I don't mind having to wait to see Dracula. It's all about antici-------------pation. What I DO mind is that since the month is almost over and your contribution isn't No. 1 (dare I hope for a recount?), I won't be able to see how it all plays out :( Any chance that ya'll (yes, I'm from the South-live with it!) will finish the comic somewhere else. I'd really like to see what happens!
If Nick Fury was a real person he would be ashamed
great fun
Okay - I just noticed that the whole 'where's dracula' thing has been touched on a lot - sorry to join the chorus of whiners here, but you really need dracula to show his face in your story. If Dracula wasn't in the title I might not have been so eager to click on this book
Where's the 'Dracula'? The title promised some Dracula, but your eight pages did not deliver.
Off to a good start. I await more.
Brilliant work. Hope to see more.
Great job here, I love it :D I have enjoy every page, congratulations :D
Melicious-- I had to go through the same thing. My original title was taken and my second title was also struck down. And this was on the Friday before the comics were posted, so I was sweatin' it! I'd probably click on anything titled, "Children of Armageddon" expecting Iron Maiden (And if you were expecting Iron Maiden... My apologies).
Mel,
It's not false advertising, it's your title. It's perfectly fine. Focus on the pacing problems if you when. I would also advertise on Blank Label Comics and YuGiOh The Abridged Series.
Damn. Damndamndamn. Now THIS is fun.
I don't know if I mentioned this before, but the art is amazing, the story intriguing...finally! Let's have some love for the non-traditional comic here! I'm so sick of the SERIOUS comics each month that really don't have much to give by way of story. This would totally keep me coming back.
The last minute title change has snake bite more than one comic on Zuda (actually 3 so far), still faving 'ya!!! :)
My goodness!! "Where's Dracula??" That's what everyone is asking the point where I feel like we're losing votes and ratings for it. Lol! I dunno if I can say this here, but I'd like to explain. 'Dracula vs Santa' wasn't the original title. We had two other titles, one was too long and the other previously used. At the last minute this title was chosen for us and it stayed. I even had to change the last text box 3 times! So please don't hate because the title doesn't match the first 8 pages. I didn't think the change would become 'false advertising.' Please enjoy it for what it is and thanks for reading!
a variety of questions are asked, along with my review here:

This is Fricking..... Awesome!!!!!
My VOTE!!!!
Hey kids, Thanks for the feedback. I'll respond tomorrow. Until then check out our comic strips's website for my picks for a cast, if this ever got made into a made into a movie:
http://mycagecomic.com/
Here's a hint: It includes Bill Murray, Bruce Campbell, and Sacha Baron Cohen as Dracula! :) Good Night. I gotta go to work now. Thanks again so much for the feedback. LATER! -Ed
I love this! The first panel reminds me of old Christmas cards. The artwork is brilliantly done and the story made me laugh. Hope to see more.
I threatened to do this. You all laughed at me. Here is this month's Zuda reviews, done under heavy medication:

This was awesome, I loved everything from the premise to the final product. Wicked good
It made me laugh, but i feel like we could've seen a bit more in those 8 pages.
Good luck.
hi eddie.
its leanne quinones
ivoted for you.
Sick, demented, & funny... too bad the Easter Bunny didn't bleed chocolate! Can't wait to see more...
I enjoyed this greatly, I would have liked to see Santa as a more conflicted individual, perhaps with a drinking problem. Otherwise, great job and I look forward to more.
LOL!! Nice! Good work, love the nod to Nick Fury. As for Dracula appearing, who cares? But once again the comic is trumped by frequentcontributor's comments. That dude is really funny! Good luck.
The best in the top three. Really entertaining.
The best in the top three. Really entertaining.
I WANT MORE!
Why would they hit the Tooth Fairy first? Maybe because the Tooth Fairy could tell right away that "Dracula"'s fangs are fakes?
...after all, who, would have it in for the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus? Maybe someone who doesn't like the distraction of secular holiday figures horning in on his two big days...?
Naaah! It's gotta be Dracula!
Terrific Work! The only criticism I would agree with is that Dracula should've been in the comic in some form. Other wise, Great Job. (Nick Frosty is hilarious).
All the funny stuff seemed packed in the middle of this strip... The art his is good enough to ignore (not too detailed, but not really "bad" in any way...), which is best, I think, for a humorous comic. Nick Frosty is a funny, if not one-note, character (See Dirk Anger for how to really get mileage out of a Fury ripoff...), but the beginning and end of this strip just fell flat, for me. We know what Santa does, so the first two pages could have been scrapped in favor of just showing all of his tech doo-dads in the background, and Dracula wasn't even in the comic!!! Anyway, it's hard to care about a Christmas comic when it's almost Spring. I just wish that Dracula was the star, or at least got equal screen time...
If I wasn't in this competition, I'd vote on this simply because Ed has such a funny cousin.
Ed I read it and voted for you. Very clever. But how could you kill the Easter bunny. Who's next Cupid! What the hell is wrong with you. Don't forget you are Irish, so leave the leprechans alone. Your favorite cousin.
Terrific work, Ed! I love the concept... give me some time to get through it all...
Oh, I did, Ed. I have made demands of every online friend I could track down, and forced as many of them as possible to register and vote. And of course, I've 5-starred, favorited, and voted.
To comment on all the "We want Dracula" comments. To me, that seems like the point. "I want Dracula"... so I'm going to vote for this one to see him. To me, sounds like the perfect ploy.
